Cycling Without Age (CWA) is a global movement that takes seniors and others with limited mobility out for bike rides in specially designed bikes called trishaws. The trishaw provides a comfortable seat for one or two passengers at the front of the bike, and is powered by a ‘pedal-assist’ electric motor and an amazing volunteer pilot. Rides are offered free of charge to seniors and those with mobility issues.

I love cycling trail building and am so excited to start CWA in Fernie. I love sharing the outdoors with my family whether that be on skis, on foot or a bike!

I am so lucky to live in Fernie and enjoy everything it has to offer! I am thrilled to help bring CWA to Fernie and help others enjoy our wonderful outdoor playground.

I love being outdoors whether it’s hiking, biking or camping. I am excited to share the outdoors with CWA participants.

I am helping out CWA because cycling has been a big part of my life for almost 6 decades and I want to spread the joy to people that can no longer enjoy everything cycling has to offer.

I feel fortunate to be able to ski, cycle, hike and golf in Fernie.  I am so happy to be part of CWA and bring the feel of cycling and the beautiful outdoors to others.
